Philosophy
A major concern of Little People's Day Care is to provide services to children age 6 weeks to 13 years of age in an atmosphere conducive to promoting personal and social growth and development.  A carefully designed program will foster language , gross and fine motor skills to help each child grow to his/her fullest capabilities.  A second concern is to have a staff of qualified and caring persons who create an atomosphere that facilititates healthful, living learning, loving, laughing, arguing and making up and encourages understanding of differences and similarities in people.  Other concerns to be addressed are:  consultation and counseling with parents when appropriate and finally awareness of the changing needs in whatever way possible.  In applying this philosophy each child is provided with the opportunity within his/her limitations:

     1.  To become proficient in listening and following directions.
     2.  To be aware of and to practice the habits of good mental health and fitness.
     3.  To appreciate the true value found in music, art, and nature.
     4.  To become aware of responsibilities as well as rights of everyday living.
     5.  To form friendships while interacting with peers.
