We provide a private kindergarten program for children who were born after the cut off date for the public school system. Children need to be 5 years old by october 31st to be able to register.
We follow the public school curriculum as well as the same schedule.
We have a kindergarten cetified teacher who oversees the activities presented to the children.

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday Season. We will have our Holiday party on Friday, December 23rd. The children have a half day that Friday.
Our theme for this month is Friends Together. The two books we will be focusing on are Aaron and Gayla’s Alphabet book and My Dad and I.
Our Alpha friends for this theme include Hattie Horse, Vinny Volcano, and Callie Cat.
The sight words they will learn are "a", and "to". We will also focus on "at" words.
In Math they will work on attribute blocks, addition, and subtraction. They will continue to work on patterns, two dimensional shapes, counting, numeral recognition and number writing. They will also work on graphing, measuring, estimating and probability.
In Social Studies we will focus on how different people celebrate the holidays.
There will be no school the week of December 26 th. School resumes on January 2nd.
Starting Jan 2nd, all children will need their own library card in order to take books out of the Blackstone Library. The librarians will not accept me giving a name and address anymore. This is a library rule.
